Organoid Atlas Published in iScience
Our manuscript detailing the development of mouse embryonic stem cell-derived inner ear organoids is now out in iScience! This single-cell “developmental atlas” maps the progression of otic progenitor cells into inner ear supporting cells and hair cells, providing valuable insights into the formation of inner ear sensory epithelia within the organoid system. Additionally, we identified an interesting phase during which proliferating otic progenitors simultaneously generate hair cells and otic neuroblasts before transitioning to a non-proliferative state. This detailed mapping of otic development offers a valuable resource for future research into cell cycle regulation and lineage specification in inner ear organoids. Read more about it here!
